The new employees will be deployed for e-commerce, fresh produce, marketing, customer experience, warehousing and delivery.
Interested candidates can send a text message for a direct link to a page of available vacancies, or apply directly online.
The US retail giant says the investment will lead over the next five years to the use of advanced technology that should help "get the goods to market as quickly as possible."
Home improvement retailer Lowe & # 39; s Canada announced this week that it would hire more than 625 employees in Quebec at its Rona and Réno-Dépôt stores, as well as about 30 others at its Boucherville distribution center.
Lowe & # 39; s also said he would be offering a $ 300 bonus to full-time employees and $ 150 to part-time and seasonal workers later this month. This is in addition to the bonuses paid out earlier this year, following the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic.
